Homemade Dog Biscuits
1 pound fresh beef livers
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup nonfat dry milk
1 cup oats
1 cup wheat germ
2 cup whole wheat flour
2 cups all-purpose flour
¼ - ½ cup corn or vegetable oil
Boil livers in water for five minutes.
Drain, reserving one cup of the boiling liquid.
Mash livers with fork or food processor.
Combine the mashed livers, the one cup of liquid and the remaining ingredients. Mix with spoon or by hand until you have a nice dough ball.
On a lightly floured surface, roll out dough to a 1/3" thickness.
Cut into 2" squares or use a biscuit cutter to form biscuits.
Bake for 45 minutes in 350 oven on a greased baking sheet.
Turn oven off and allow biscuits to dry in the warm oven for several hours.

THIS DOG BISCUIT IS ONE OF THE BEST THAT MY DOG LIKES. SOMETIMES I ADD 1/2 CUP OF PEANUT BUTTER TO IT.
