2-1/2 sticks unsalted butter
2 tsp. clear vanilla extract
1 tsp. almond extract
8-9 tablespoons milk
2 lbs. powdered sugar

Set butter out until softened and at room temperature. In a very large bowl whip with electric hand blender on medium speed until fluffy. Beat in extracts.

Alternatively blend in sugar, then milk, then sugar, then milk until everything is incorporated. If necessary, add more milk, one tablespoon at a time until you reach spread-able consistency.
