Dutch Baby

A dutch baby is just a German pancake which is just a very large popover, which is just ultimate deliciousness.

best yet, it can be whipped up with the kitchen staples you most likely already have on hand.

3 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup flour
3 T. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
zest from one lemon
pinch of salt
3 T. butter

preheat oven to 450. preheat a 10-inch skillet in the hot oven and melt the butter in the pan while you're at it.

meanwhile, whisk the ingredients into a smooth, thin batter. remove hot pan from the oven, stir half of the melted butter into the batter, then pour this batter into your hot pan.

bake for 20 minutes, or until super puffed up with a crisp, brown edge. top with some sugar & fresh squeezed lemon juice.
